The rar file has been updated to remove the copywritten music. I figure most of you testing it have BMS files that youve already ripped from your legal copies of beatmania.
I also tried messing with the config file but it all did the same thing.
Im running windows XP sp2 with the latest updates, directx 9.0c i believe is what it is and i've got an amd ath 3800+ 64 chip and 2 gigs of ram topping it off with a geforce 7900 gtx.
The config windows is talking about is the shared assembly manifest file that the program is built against. I honestly can't figure this out as only windows applications are required to look it up. The easy solution is to install the visual C redistributable pack.
It might be because the .net framework 2.0 updates the C runtime library, also.
The instructions MSDN has given me are as follows: "Embed redistributable merge module side-by-side assemblies in the msi, and/or require that VCRedist_x86.exe be run prior to installation."
So google VCRedist_x86.exe I guess. It runs on about half the people's computers that have tried it =/

I couldn't get it to start either, it said to check my installation and didn't even try to load.
