144 builds later and honestly nothing has changed.

Creative's beta audio driver does dead in 2 weeks. The only people supporting the OS right now are nVidia and ATi. There had better be a serious performance bump or else I'm just going to wait for WPF to be backported to XP.

Yeah I said fuck it for now and reinstalled XP.

I've been using RC1 nonstop mostly for the DX10 support ( I do happen to work on a few graphical applications here and there. )

Beyond that, almost every application I used in XP works except for utorrent- but that's because utorrent and bittorrent clients on windows expect the old TCP stack and networking models to create their connections, and the system on vista is entirely different.

There's a lot of awesome here.
