See, I had the opposite reaction to that scene: I thought the performance of Bohemian Rhapsody was technically excellent but lacking in emotion. In fact, I assumed that was done deliberately. I also thought that intercutting the performance with Quinn's delivery was just weird; the songs are usually a commentary on what's going on in the show, and so the lyrics of Bohemian Rhapsody seem not just out of place, but directly contrary to the act of giving birth. Meanwhile, Jessica pointed out that a first pregnancy usually takes hours, not minutes. And how come everyone went with Quinn to the hospital except Rachel? And also, unless Quinn directly signed over custody to Shelby, I don't see how Shelby could have just walked out with Quinn's baby

I'm glad VA won because I thought it was technically superior. But that didn't stop me from rolling my eyes at the treacly "I luuurrrrvvvv yous" and "To Sir With [freaking] Love." I've watched Sidney Poitier. You, Will Schuester, are no Sydney Poiter.
