If anyone has gotten a link from my Yahoo account in Yahoo instant messenger, DO NOT click on it. That's the fake page that got my account info, and it was sent to everyone on my contact list.

odinsdaughter, check your Yahoo account. I got it from yours, so chances are you can't log into your account either.

I got an offline message from both of your Yahoo screen names (the two I have, anyways) which led me to a fake Yahoo page that got my login info.

After I lost access to my account, the same link was sent to my sister and my father, so I took that to mean that it goes through people's Yahoo contact lists and sends it out to everyone on it. The fact that I got it from you tells me that they're in your account.

Even if by some miracle they never changed your password, I'd go into Yahoo and change your info NOW.

Actually I think I traced it. I was sent a weird link in my messenger by a friend of mine who was mystified as she never got it. I clicked on it twice from merit_aset and then gave up.

But thanks for the heads up, will change my details asap.
