**** I resigned as a w'ab priest. Actually quite an easy decision to make when you weigh what you're supposed to be doing against what you're actually doing and don't feel the need to *have to have* the title to make you seem special. Just not the right time. I'm working on other things like:

Oh, I love my Kindle! I really don't know what I did without it! So many books in such a convenient little package! -loves her Kindle- Mine's a first gen, though, its not as sleek, but I love the removeable memory option.

And gratz on the cutting back!

We can start a W'ab resignee club now!

"don't feel the need to *have to have* the title to make you seem special. "

Exactly. or... at least as if not having the title makes you feel like a failure because you feel you have let down other people.

You do Rock.

I don't feel like I've let others down really. There's plenty of other w'abu doing fine jobs and you gotta take care of yourself first before helping others you know? It's for the best. I'm happy.

I don't either, but it took me a while to get to that point. When I did I was able to resign with a clear concience and a lighter heart.

And yes, taking care of myself and my family ends up being where my truest calling is. It's mundane to say that-- everyone is supposed to take care of their family. That's not an exceptional thing, but the big W said something very profound to me once, and I started to realize how important it all was.

If you've made the decision that's best for you, vis-a-vis w'abhood then more power to you. Not taking care of yourself first and foremost would most likely be a hindrance to being able to serve, no? I'm happy that you've made a decision that sits well. Perhaps that's a bad way to put it, but I can't brain today, I has the dumb.

Gratz on cutting back on drinking. Myself, I set specific events to which I could drink, and seeing as most of those events are done, I'm really not drinking. It's a nice thing, and if you keep at it enough, the pounds will start to drop off on their own, which is a nice thing. :-D

As for a Kindle, I have NO idea what that is, but if it makes you gleeful, that's cool.
