Avoidance and denial

I'm used to being a strong person. I make a decision, it happens. I decide to build a computer table or wardrobe without plans? It happens. I put my efforts into an event or presentation, it happens. You're in my thoughts and I hope you manage to miss at least some of the side-effects even if there's no chance of missing all of them! Bloody awful thing, chemo, as I know having watched mum go through it three times. Here's a big electronic hug from me and my sympathy as someone who knows just what you mean about something you have no control over and cannot influence.

I'm rooting for you. Rooting for the side effects to be bearable and for the bloody cancer to be zapped so that at least the side effects are eventually worth it.
