there's nothing cooler than getting a fresh box of light bulbs, taking a new one out of the box and replacing it with an old burned-out one...ahh...the nice way the old bulb fits perfectly into place where the replacement bulb was once situated. i like that

Someone who is happy with the world around him and feels good about his life can see everything, big or small, in a positive way. I watch bottles and cans roll across the concrete at work to see if they will make it to their destination or have their life ended by the wheels and weight of a passing truck. I feel sad when it doesn't make it and smile when it gets all the way to the street. It only lasts for a moment and then I go about my night, but it's one of the little things I enjoy. If either of us start filming plastic bags "dancing in the wind", we might have a problem.

Happy belated birthday! I'm glad to hear you are doing so well and we miss you and Maribel. Jack and Lenore say hi. Oh, and fyi, Jody and I are getting married.
