In a twisted way, I'm glad this happened. It makes me feel like less of an asshole now that you can see the situation from my perspective. Still, you were a blink of hope in a battle I stopped fighting four years ago. For a few momements, however brief, I had taken up arms again.

If it is any sort of condolonce, know that the boat keeps sailing, with or without a crew to man it.
