i think you've got the wrong idea of god. first off, taking the big step in assuming there is one, which i do often enough, i don't believe that a being of that magnitude would really have a relationship with it's creation. not terribly unlike some of the things we huumnas are working on with nanite technology. do you think that we will take hte time to care for each little nanite, no. Thusly , god is off doing whatever it is gods do, (likely watch a game of soccer, or polo perhaps) while we do our part in the universe, and destory this planet. so the next planet can come along and something similar(maybe giant cockroaches) can destroy that planet.

at least that's what i think, at the moment.

I actually agree totally, just the way I think that yes, god is disconnected from us all, personifications of god are stupid, as gid is ineffable, and true thought or understanding of god is unattainable.
