Not necessarily. That kind of movement is *A LOT* easier to follow on a small screen.

LOL!!! Seriously! I *HATE* that style, especially when it's over done. Juggling the camera while a couple of guys dance around you is NOT an effective means of conveying the excitement and intensity of hand-to-hand combat!

That was my main beef with Cloverfield too, but at least in that one the whole point was that someone amateur was running for his life with his video camera on.

Fortunately, I found enough in Star Trek that I could watch that the unwatchable scenes weren't too distracting.
