Been debating if I should post these or not, but here I go. Its just some stuff I wrote. one is new and three are a couple weeks old but I think they were all written in november... Enjoy them (if you want)
~november poems~
~when the silence spoke~
her words filled my head like a sweet melody
then I leaned over and kissed her, singing my own song
she placed her head on my shoulder and it felt like it belonged
no one spoke yet tears and smile were shed and showed
the moonlight shawn on us, making us immortal in our own world
and then the silence stopped speaking, and she said, I love you.
but it wasn’t the first time I had heard that for it was the night the silence spoke
---- Ever get the feeling that when you’re with someone you love or know well, you don’t have to speak, yet you can say everything you want. Sometimes its in the eyes. Sometimes you just know. Im sure u know what I mean----
**Just a warning. This one talks about rape. So skip over it if you don’t want to read it.**
~always half empty~
the bottle was empty and her scars were fresh
she cried in the corner her tears screaming in distress
he stood infront of her and slipped his hand up her stocking's mesh
down to the floor fell the dress
no one heard her cry her innocence away
only the police saw how he left her on the ground
and when the police questioned witnesses
no one made a sound
the hotel's lobby fell silent in the night
the guests and staff were choked with fright
----In the u.s. a women was raped in a hotel's parking lot and the hotel manger demanded that all the staff not call the police. he said that they would be arrested if they got involved. (he is in jail now) Finally a staff member snuck into the washroom and called the police. This was after half an hour of this woman’s screams. Things like this make me cringe at the sight of our race. When are we soo sad that we won't stop someone from raping a woman (she was a prostitute...but that dosen't matter) because we are afraid of getting involved.. Pretty sick if you ask me---
~Paradise Dead~
falling through a midnight sky
togther we fly, you and I
as birds dash through our open wings
the ocean opens and sweetly sings
our dream in paradise fills our eyes
the pain of past falls and dies
and you and I fall through a midnight sky
I think to myself, real life is to die
we land softly on the greenest grass
the world, a blanket protecting our mass
then in a blink I lose your sight in my eye
and to the world I think, to wake is to die
-----Paradise dead is about a dream I had. The dream really isn't important. The idea is just that when we wake up, the happy life, the perfect life, our dreams, all disappear and 'die'. -----
~The forgotten days~
it was not so long ago,
where friends now, back then were foe.
although I wish the years had truly been forgotten
that would leave my past and me so much more rotten
let god be my strength and let me forget those days,
let me forget my friend and foes ways
and also god, please never let me forget.
----Just about being bullied in school.. never forget what ppl do to u or ull do it to other ppl----
That’s all folks. Does anyone enjoy reading these? Because I already write them in a 'real' journal, so writing them on here is just for ppl to read them.
Let me know.
