you might try craigslist instead of eBay, or both. I sold a few things on craigslist here before moving and it worked really well. i posted them and within a few hours had several interested parties. One thing to know about Craigslist is that there is enough volume that people usually only see what was posted in the last day or 2 so it is worth reposting every few days.
