Because, as a multiple-issues voter, I think there are far more important issues facing our country than just gun rights. While I've been an NRA member since I was 13, I also realize that our right to bear arms isn't going anywhere, and that legislation curbing our civil liberties, privacy, and our current debacles in 'foreign policy' have had far more of an impact on my life as a human being and an American.

Oh it can go somewhere. Look at what Obama has done with IL and Biden with the AWB, that alone is change. I think both Mccain and Obama are fucktards but had to ask, many NRA members I know would rather sit this election out if forced to pick.

Obama has stated unequivocably that he has no interest in further gun control.
To do otherwise would be, no pun intended, shooting himself in the foot.
