it is disgusting how facts are spouted without being verified. as you point out, there is a kid who is now in the spotlight unfairly due to the media being overzealous in wanting to report something... anything... without a fucking clue.
there is so much finger pointing and hearsay it isn't funny.
can't they wait until they know wtf is what before making shit up that then colours people's perspectives?
frustrating. absolutely frustrating.
also, yeah, the shooter had a green card. however he certainly was more american than south korean considering he had been in this country since he was nine! lay off on the nationality you idiots. he was a disturbed person. doesn't matter his nationality.

I'm of Korean descent, also, so when I heard that the shooter was Korean, my first thought was "Oh great, how long before there's racial backlash?" And not just towards Koreans but Asians in general since many people can't distinguish between Korean, Chinese, Japanese, etc.
