Halloween 2011

I really like to go all out for Halloween when I get the chance, but it's amazing how sleep deprivation is directly connected to motivation in general. I did manage to drag a (sick) Soi to Shinjuku Park for the Tokyo Mother's Group Halloween party.

Cool! It's awesome that you've found a great support group. Have you considered joining the AFWJ (Association of Foreign Wives of Japanese)? There are tons of mom-and-kid-type playgroups and support groups and all kinds of resources for moms that I bet you'd find helpful.

Are you living in Sakuragicho? I remember you saying you guys were gonna build a house there..?

I haven't checked out the AFWJ yet...I remember your post about them, and about all they could talk about was their kids, and I felt kinda bad because I would probably be the same. They just take over your life. Anyway, we're still in Tokyo because our friggin house completion date keeps getting pushed back...it hasn't even been started yet even though the original date of COMPLETION was like May of this year. :( We'll get there eventually, I suppose.

I COMPLETELY understand the need for moms to talk about their kids with other moms! And there seems to be so many moms in the group that I think you may find it helpful. :3

Sucks about the house... but yeah, you'll get there eventually. :)
