The gig was freaking AMAZING. The band had a great time, and Kurt Harland Larson (their singer) even told the audience that in the 20-some-odd years of performing as Information Society, this was the best gig of his career -- what's more, I'd believe every word. Believe it or not, it was just a DVD with a track of custom visual content for each song. Out of the DVD player into a distribution amp, then to the three projectors.

oh yeah! the best was this scenario: bull bucks the cowboy up in the air, he lands on his back and his head hits the bottom rail of the gate the bulls go through to leave the arena. home boy is KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT.... COLD! a few guys drag his carcass away from the gate before the bull ran him over.

man... it was a good time. i'll have to post some pictures....or put together a little video montage.

oh, and the little fella rode a mechanical bull! we called it a robot bull, because it sounds cooler.
