I would find the girl who was in charge of calling people to let them know of the move instead of yelling at the doctor. Obviously, she didn't finish her duties before she left!
It's not that simple.djmaniakFebruary 21 2007, 02:19:24 UTC
Said girl in question quit her job.
I never received a phone call, because the office simply assumed I had been notified, when I wasn't. Therefore, the office is at fault, not an individual.
I consider what was done VERY unprofessional, and they have every right to know that. And I'm sure if you were in the same situation as I am right now, you'd react in a similar manner.

No, I would take into consideration that the office thought I had been contacted and schedule another appointment ASAP. Then again, I am not a native of NY and have some sense of patience with people. Go ahead, kick my ass but my boots will always be bigger than yours :p
Oh, and I have worked customer service and know what it's like to have a yelling person standing in front of me who has no idea how much of a pain in the ass my job is. If the office thought she had contacted you, then that's one thing. If they say they know for a fact she didn't attempt to do this, then I suggest you find another doctor who is covered by your insurance. If they know of her negligence, why be bothered with something similar or worse happening in the future?
