Stimulus against religion and socializing health care?

OK, so with more research into this SPENDING package this is a passage in there that funds are prohibited from being used for the "modernization, renovation, or repair" of facilities that allow "sectarian instruction, religious worship or a school or department of divinity ( Read more... )

yeah really. im sure this is one of those things where we dont see where the money is going until we actually SEE where the money has been put.

pretty soon ill have door to door honey bee insurance salesmen knocking on my door.

Obama made a promise in his campaign that anything that he signs into law would go up on his website for Amercia to view and comment for FIVE days. All about his transparency. Needless to say he's already passed laws that were never on the website. You know this stimulus will be the same. Oh and Obama said they are having "technical difficulties" with the website. But they had no problem with the hundred other websites they put up. So no, we'll never see it all til it's too late.

I used to try and respect peoples religious choices, but after considering that religion has been the source of more pain and suffering than any other institution, organization, catastrophre or war... I have no respect for organized religion any longer (I think that there is no greater threat to the world than religion). I also think we should tax the church, and treat it like any other business.
