Funny, Harry Reid retorts with something to the effect "you're going to listen to a man who threw more interceptions than touchdowns and was the fourth biggest draft bust in NFL history." Honestly, I believe the recession is far, far more than just doom-and-gloom prophesy. I've been seeing its effect on the front lines of job hunting, for starters. And I don't believe that it's just going to go away. the flip side is that I've agreed with you, both in the past and even now, that this stimulus package is bloated with pork and may do a good chunk of harm. The focus should be on building infrastructure and not all the little hidden Easter eggs folks have been crowing -- justly -- about.

I've been following your jobless adventure and I feel for you and those on the front lines. I feel for you and I know that there is light at the end of your tunnel...no thanks to the pork package.

Obama should be uplifting America like he was doing in his campaign. Telling us hope is on the way and that those WITH money need to continue to spend & keep the economy afloat. Not preach doom and gloom so that those with the money pull a turtle and hide.
