I own a gamecube, let me get that out of the way first.

With that said, I think nintendo has a real knack for screwing itself. The gamecube has great graphics, decent controllers, a good price and an established name. Why do they sell only little kids games? Why don't they have an online gaming service? Why didn't they use the standard disc forfactor so they could also be dvd players? Because they are a bunch of japanese fatheads, thats why.

Not to mention they jumped on the disc system band wagon a little late. They do have a knack for shooting themselves in the foot. Not to mention, it seems like they're still trying to ride the wave from their peak by relying on the classics...which is great and all but I'm giving them an F- on ingenuity.
