I cannot find my self in agreement with the saying "Those that survive layoffs are the lucky ones." Lucky I still have job, but angry at all the extra BS on my plate now. And at the same time sad for those who lost their jobs here. It just didn't seem fair for me the least senior person to be the one they kept. Guess that is just the way of life.

As the beneficiary-victim of several "resource actions," I can definitely sympathize and agree with you. The survivors are expected to pick up the slack without the accompanying pay. Fun.

I just hope I make it through the next one, though maybe something better awaits me if I am indeed "RA'ed" out.
