There is a point at which the verbose becomes the obtuse. When each word is so 'wordy' that the meaning must be labored upon, verbosity is now idiocy. I'm sick of reading this prolix literature

It reads like all the legalese documents I have to decipher and extrapolate key phrases from. My opinion is that this kind of writing is meant to throw one off track or rather the writer would like to think that their grasp and use of the executed language is far beyond superior that their books would be spoken about as a hard but good read. To me it's all hot air and if I toss my dictionary in the blender and put it back together, I could probably outdo them. =)
Seriously I am far from being a literary genius and when I got done reading that first paragraph example you gave, I really felt like I was back at my desk doing work. Reading should be informative however when you are trying to get your message across via text, less is more. It is not like this person is trying to describe the precise taste and atmospheric pressure in the air as they plopped down on their ample derriere on the red and white checkered picnic blanket under the 250 year old oak tree on the wispy tender greens on the grassy knoll.
