I agree, it's an insane value! If I didn't have other things going on in NYC I could see myself staying here for a long time.

if i had a job down there, i would totally take it. but, alas i am still looking for work before moving. you will be missed. when are you leaving for good?

Sure, finding a job before moving is smart. I plan to move the week of June 16, so it's coming up really soon, ack!

If you had something larger, Rachel and I would be vastly interested. (We're looking for a 2 bedroom place in Andersonville.)

Rather sucks that you're leaving as we're coming back to Chicago. Meh!

What a coincidence that you're moving here! Shoot, I wish I'd still be around. Have you lived in Andersonville before? It's a fantastic neighborhood.

Never lived in Andersonville before, but I've spent some time around there. I grew up in West Garfield Park, which is almost but not quite the diametric opposite.

Since I'm going to Northwestern in the fall, and Rachel will most likely work downtown, it seemed like a good compromise in terms of the train commute. And I think Andersonville is probably livelier than Evanston.

Here's hoping you'll make it back to Chicago periodically. :)

Wow, congrats on getting into Northwestern! Yes, Andersonville definitely has more going on than Evanston. Evanston is nice enough, but also suburban and quiet.

Oh yes, I plan to visit Chicago when I can! One thing I love about this city is that it has tons of schools, like Pittsburgh :) For some reason I have been feeling very nostalgic about Pgh and CMU lately, hmmmm.
