the deep this needle pierces my veins
the deeper I get away from myself
and even deeper theres no more pain

could you see the world
through these cold eyes
from day to day

what goes on in this skull
it really is just dull

the deeper these thoughts
run through my veins
the more I just wish
there is no more pain
in the eyes you see me through
cause really I'm okay
you may not know it
it's just there to get by one more day

I should have never expected to stay
because there is just no way
to get through this god damn day

the deeper this madness
entrenches my soul
the deeper the needs
makes this hole
the deeper I push
the closer I get
to pushing myself away
if I can push any deeper
there would be no more pain
