that's the second-saddest news for the day...Olie and Simon were two reasons why I was loving hockey in DC when I moved here.

For me, that piece of news was ten times worse than the loss. I didn't expect us to make it even as far as we did, but to know that Olie has already decided he doesn't want to come back next year - that just hurts.

Ovechkin and Huet carried that game last night, they kicked some major ass. That piss poor excuse of a second goal from Philly should never have happened. That game belonged to the Caps, end of story.
