gah i know this is late in the game and all but a friend is desperately looking for a DJ for his wedding reception on the 23rd of September, its really late in the game but I am hoping you can help out in some way... (obviously he will pay you)

I can do it... my voice is lost right now, so I am not calling anone (or elsewise speaking on the phone) ... what's the budget like? Normally we do four hour events for $495, up-to-six hours for $595 and up-to-eight hours for $695. But, at the same time, I wanna help your friend out. =-p
