Repeat situation causing entry dated 18.February 2002.

I'm thinking of looking into financial aid or student loans or something. If I could get a $5000 student loan, it could probably cover rent and utilities for a year, assuming I had a roommate.

Sometimes I think I was mistaken. Lieben ist tun.

I'm having one of those days where nothing goes right. I have one shift next week, too. That's three shifts, in three weeks. I get yet another unpleasant letter from school stating that my GPA isn't high enough and I'm not accepted into a major yet, which needs to be done after 60 credit hours - keep in mind, I have between 110 and 118. Op. 6 is now fully sequenced, with the patch determined and it stands ready to be recorded. It's only taken me about two and a half hours to sequence it.

Now I'm off to procure sustenance, then go over to Rice's.

The burnout is over, thankfully. My mind thirsts and cries out to me for information and stimulation. My sonata, to be titled Sonata for Synth Strings (Op. 6), is completely composed. I may add percussion if it doesn't sound too bad after it's fully sequenced, but I know that what I see on the staff paper doesn't match what I hear in my head ( Read more... )

Isn't it great, when you find out you just wasted an entire fucking year, through your own stupidity and incompetence?

So, I started the new job. I had been in the process of making my journal entry about it when the damned computer locked up. The boss loves me, although the pay's not as good as had been described to me... yet. The job's a lot of (physical) work, but it's easy and we usually have plenty of time to relax.
