wowie! I didn't even know they still made glass ketchup bottles. Glad you're okay.
Put your car into neutral & give it a little gas when you need to be idle for an extended period of time. Also, if you are not in a smog restrictive state, or you've already passed your inspection this year & your car is not an offender, set your idle higher with a tie tack.

Maybe that should be the name for a band... I mean maybe that'd be a sweet opportunity for you... that could only be insighted by this horriffic tragedy from the heart of the condiment aisle, among other tragedies involving automobiles.
Anyway, on the more helpful side, all you have to do is have the idle increased on your car... it's obvious that it's allowing itself to go too low. I'm not sure how to do it though, but that's the solution.
on a side note, we watched the film last night that starred you & marty, and i just wanted to say it was great, you did a great job. (your hair has gotten really long!) and you are beautiful. wish you were around more. :)
Thank you. I was talking with Greg the other night and found out we can buy all the dvd's of all the old commercials we did back in the day. That got me very excited, I'd like to show all of the stuff to my kids someday you know. Thanks for the compliments! I know I haven't been around, but that's because I lead a secret life...I mean, I don't go to NorthRidge anymore. I have actually been in to process of looking for a new church all summer long. The quest is still on, but hopefully soon (hopefully) I'll find that church to call home. In the meantime...the hunt is still on.
anyway, this is kind of a long response to your comment. Thanks again, I'm glad that all of you had as much fun at the "film festival" as we did making all those many (some ridiculous) movies.
i'm sorry to hear about all of the car problems! i had the same thing happen with my old car that was a ford that is happening with your escort. i had to have the EGR valve replaced. i don't think it was *too* exspensive - good luck!
