I would come :)
Personally, I like the Troc. It wouldn't be a bad place for live shows and Philly's even closer to me than Trenton is. Only thing I can think of, especially if the night's going to continue to be on a Friday, is that parking in that part of the city BLOWS. Wouldn't deter me from coming out though!

Love the Troc...but that is beyond far from central NJ (home) and more north NJ (work) I'd rarely get out there...unless I take a personal day.

well the interesting thing about that is you could easily do all ages all the time since the bar is upstairs :)

another quick FYI djtotentanz November 10 2005, 16:46:24 UTC
I just remembered that The Troc doesn't let you smoke downstairs, but it's ok upstairs at the bar (though granted I don't know if this rule is magically broken during the occasional 21+ concerts when the bar downstairs is open too since I've never been).

Just bringing it up because that's often one of the major gripes about the place. Personally, I can deal with it, as long as there's someplace in the building I can smoke. If you're going for an all ages night, it'll be especially easy to deal with because I go where the booze is and I'll be upstairs anyway. In either case, either to help out the underagers or just so the 21+ folks don't have to go upstairs everytime they want a cig, maybe the Troc would be willing to let people exit and re-enter so they could just go out front and come back in.

I'm sure there's some way to handle this and in the scheme of things, it's not exactly the hugest problem one could have. I'm really excited about this possibility!
