Very good things recently:

1.Seeing the Street Dogs finally. They're definitely my favorite punk band and they put on a great show, plus they gave shout outs to various union locals before "Katie Bar the Door". Been off work for the past 4 days. Saw 2 excellent movies: Sicko and Live Free or Die Hard

Go see Sicko if you want to see an excellent documentary which will have you laughing part of the time but also seething with uncontrollable rage throughout. You will also want to move out of the US by the end of it if you live here in the states, guaranteed.

Recently, the better half and I have seen Spider Man 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and I really liked both of them quite a bit. Most folks seem to not like both of these for some strange reason, but I thought the new Pirates was much better than #2 (but not as good as #1) and Spider Man 3 was on par with the 1st and 2nd installments.

Oh hell yeah I just enrolled in the 2 classes I'm gonna take in the fall, Calculus I and Ecucational Psychology. I didn't think I could sign up till August but the on-line enrollment let me add the classes so that's awesome. Now I know I'll be going to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am-noon starting in September, and I can just bid night ( Read more... )

Over the last 3 days I worked 55 hours and slept 10, I have no idea how I'm even concious right now but I am.

I'm listening to Talib Kweli's "The Beautiful Struggle" album for the first time right now, good God it's incredible.

1. I got my letter of acceptance from Rhode Island College, so I'll be starting there in September studying Secondary Math Education.
