a few years back ijason, hiloui and I began a tradition of going to Birch Bay for the fireworks event on the 4th of July. I've mentioned this before, it's awesome. Instead of the city putting on a show for 15 minutes, the community is allowed to fire off whatever they've got (other than bottle rockets - those get conviscated) at the beach for hours. Warped Tour was good again this year. I went with Scott, Eiichi and Amanda and spent most of the time watching bands with Scott.
