A crêperie?! I must visit the new wing, post haste!

Before the big rebuild, eg back around 2002, Waterloo Towne Square had a bit of that Time-Forgotten vibe, but not nearly as badly as what you describe. It's funny how often bowling alleys are associated with that aesthetic.

The crêperie is amazing! The service is a little slow, but the food is fantastic. Mmmm... crêpes...

Frederick mall is so completely creepy. I'm actually there often, as my doctor's office is in it (which is also weird, but I'm not complaining as even having a family doctor at all is awesome, no matter where the practice is). I can't believe so many of the stores are still open, except when I'm there early in the morning. The place is packed to the gills with senior citizens. They fill up the Coffee Time and do their grocery shopping at the Valu-Mart. There's a huge lineup at the bank. It's crazy. I wish they'd renovate it.

All the new stuff at Conestoga is awesome, especially the new food court!
