A federal judge in Brownsville, TX issued an order today granting the federal government's request to condemn the ancestral land of the Tamez Family, who are Lipan Apaches. One of the reasons I embrace my Hawaiianess (for lack of a better word), the part of me that is `Oiwi is because the culture was/is rooted in acceptance.
