Had a wonderful day today!
It started with being able to finally to visit Better's church. The Philmeister gave a wonderful sermon entitled "Even Slugs leave Trails" . We then got to have lunch with some of her friends at this noodle place. The noodles were varied and really really good. Her friends were more than delightful! They are warm ( Read more... ) -
visits
We visited the Baltimore aquarium tonight - it was great! The sharks were so cool. There was a pretty one that was brown with a pattern of stripes and dots. I was thinking that a knit t-shirt in those colors would be great. Before that we hung out for a bit at the GIANT Barnes and Nobles. I picked up some knitting mags. The States
The flight was long. It was Leener's first and the boy's sixth. Leener's did well and was not very worried when we encountered some pretty severe turbulance when we landed in Miami. We arrived in the States and have spent the last week visiting family and sleeping. We've needed these days ( Read more... ) -

I have to look up and read the part about STAS in our book of work rules that really should have been written in English and not in "bureaucracease". I am just not good at this. -
Passport passport paaaaassssspooorot passpppppoooooorrrt
We have a date to pick up the Leener's passport!!!! We are so excited!!! We only had to go to the airport, where the policia federal passport section is located, twice. Phil and Leeners had to take the boat to Niteroi to get her a work permit so that she could have an id with a foto, because the birth certificate, adoption papers and old id were ( Read more... ) -

updates
I didn't want to do anything today. Just didn't think I had it in me. But I got up and made it to church which was good.
I fixed the curtain on Anna's bathroom doorway - she doesn't have a door there because the room is so small that a door couldn't open. We had hung a curtain there but it was too long and didn't hang right - it needed something ( Read more... )
