Don't get me wrong, when I met your dad he was very nice, and very hospitable...

...but now I have to say...

...your dad's an asshole.

Yea, I am an asshole for calling your dad one, but I know this.

Your dad is an asshole because he walks up to a stranger with a bumber sticker that he happened to disagree with him and called him an idiot. Now, if he were to bring it up in a reasonable way, kudos to him. However, he chose to be an asshole by walking up to that man and telling him he's an idiot for having his opinion...

Then, from what I gather from your explanation of what your dad said next, your father didn't even address what the bumper sticker was about, he talked circles around the subject. The country is what it is because our brave soldiers fought for our freedom, what does that have to do with the war in Iraq? Anything? I don't get it, maybe I'm just ignorant.

And Jim is right about how calling him an idiot is slanderous speech, and we all know from Government class that slander is a form of speech not protected by the first amendment.

Oh, and I won't say nothing has been accomplished, because although Bush really can't be given credit for the soccer team thing, stuff has been accomplished in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Problem is, and what the man's extremely awesome bumper sticker is trying to say, is that pretty much nothing we wanted to get accomplished has been.

In Afghanistan the Taliban is out, but there are still plenty o terrorists, and we never caught Osama bin Laden, a man who actually attacked us and killed 3000 people. Instead we went to...

Iraq where Bush swore there were WMD and that Sadaam was out to kill us, even though he hadn't just comitted a terrorist attack on the nation and we were never given signifigant proof. So we went in to find WMD. We ended up finding next to none, and finding no threat to America.

So we accomplished things, just nothing that was promised or really intentional (short of the Taliban, whoopty doo, there are more terrorist organizations out there).

Iraq now has clean water, better schools, better hospitals, better everything.

fucking prove it. Even if the government says "oh yea... ofcourse we didn't screw up" that doesnt mean anything. Even if the school and hospitals WERE getting better it sure isn't because we bombed the fuck out of them.

and if Uday didn't discipline the soccer team in the past they would never have the experience to even get bronze in the olympics this year.

I end with a quote
"according to the new england journal of medicine's study of us troops in iraq 14% of our soldiers say they have killed at least one civilian. there are 145,000 troops in iraq. that means they killed AT LEAST 20,300 civilians. And we are supposed to feel bad about our troops. God bless america."

Actually I haven't heard any accomplishments in Afghanistan. as far as I knew we raped them in the ass, with our bombs then left... And Iraq, I know for a fact we can't have helped them... all we did was bomb them, set up a terribly unstable democracy, and catured Saddam, in the hopes of having his regime dismantle. That's it.

And your dad was wrong. He didn't have the right to call him an idiot, the word is offensive and classified as "fighting words" which are not protected by the first amendment rights - freedom of speech. Also seditous words are npt protected. So, when I called your brother an idiot I was wrong, and I didn't have the right to call him an idiot.

Yeah...
