Bush's poor performance in the debate did hurt him, he lost a couple percent in the approval, and a total of 14 in the electoral.
I wouldn't say he won the second debate, much less that he "killed Scary Kerry." At the very most they were at equal, but I think Kerry won.
Highlights: The last question when Bush was asked to name three mistakes he's made as president, and he wouldn't name one, he would only talk about what he did that wasn't a mistake. And also when Bush wouldn't stop referring to Kerry as "the most liberal man in the Senate" as if it was like theee worst thing in the world and all the Republicans shouldn't vote for him because of it. Fucking weak.
It was in the Frederick News Post, under letters to the editor. You'll see it, it's just under the subtitle, "Supports Bush." It talks about how The editor doesn't look at the facts, and how Bush has:
Spent more money on education that any president. How he's created 1.7 million jobs.
Yeah... This is going off memory, so I can't remember the number of jobs Tim said, but I do know that:
Bush spent all that money on a education program that flopped. Bush more of restored 1.7 million jobs, as opposed to creating them, because he eliminated 2.8 million jobs, while in office.
And while trying to persuade the reader to look at the facts, Tim doesn't cite any sources, giving the whole thing lack of credebility.
