I LOVE The Women of Otherworld books. I've gotta pick up the new one when it comes out in paperback, which focuses on Jamie Vegas.
I'm reading L.A. Bank's first Vampire Huntress Legend book right now. I'm totally not feeling it. I just finished Dead Witch Walking, which wasn't bad, but not great either.
It was good, Jamie makes a fun narrator, and Eve Levine is in it quite a bit, too. I'm looking forward to the next one, which is supposed to be Hope the Chaos Demon and Lucas Cortez. I've got most of the short stories from the author's website, if you're interested in those.
I talk about Dead Witch Walking and the rest of the Rachel Morgan books in the next post. I enjoyed them, especially the parts with Jenks and his enormous dysfunctional pixie family, I'm just a little leery of Rachel's powering up. Haven't read any of the Vampire Huntress books yet.
The Vampire Huntress ones aren't awful (I'm only on the first one) but I'm not really feeling it at all. If the book wasn't so short I would stop reading it.
There's a few in the other posts that I feel like that with, too. They appeal when I want to kill an hour or so with something light and fluffy, that I don't mind if I'm interrupted while reading them. Waiting room fare.
