Tomorrow is our AGM and I've been given full clearance to announce that SFContario is a go, with a hotel and guests of honour and everything.

The inaugural convention will take place November 19-21st 2010 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in downtown Toronto. It's a lovely hotel that overlooks Allan Gardens, beautiful greenhouses and gardens that even ( Read more... )

Well Detroit has a rather successful con in January, (Confusion), so that shouldn't actually be a huge problem. However, this weekend in Toronto has been quite mild. I was walking along the street tonight with a light jacket unbuttoned after dark and it was still comfortable. Hopefully next year it will be the same.

I would be surprised to see snow and very surprised to see enough snow to stick to the ground in November, in Toronto.

The DC area is much lower and we sometimes get snow that sticks in November.
