DIR EN GREY EXPERIENCE Day 2 Los Angeles
DAY 2
Camping:
We go back in line for the Sunday show. We left early sunday cause it was really cold. Die went to the line and gave everyone picks too bad we missed it but anyways when we went back the next day. We saw that the line had moved where the tour bus was O_o that was because there was a 80’s cover show that night so they moved the line. We pitched in to get a blow up doll. We stuck around and we see Sugizo’s truck then we see Kaoru and Die leave with the truck. We didn’t see Sugizo himself but his wife and daughter were there and we recognized the toyota. So weird Luna Sugizo’s little girl walked passed us. I think she heard what we were saying. No one went up to them or anything. But I don’t think Die left with them I think he was dropped off. Kaoru left though. The sprinklers went off ~_~ Anyways, people started to sleep. While the people are sleeping Anna and I sat by the bench and watched them. Die even looked at the campers and they were all dead asleep to even notice him. I was like aahhh Die cares >_< People pass by and look at them. Its so funny these cute little girls saw the campers and said “Why are they there?” and the Dad response, “you see some people don’t have jobs, no money, no homes…they are homeless” We laughed so hard!
The show @ the HoB continued and we saw the guy from the Cured was there taking pictures! Die noticed too. It looks like he wanted to approach him but decided not too. I was like is that really him! I want a picture too!!! But we just sat there. I knew that the Cured was suppose to be at that show that night. Finally after the show leaves the everyone woke!!!and we moved the line back to where it originally was. The girls got the blow up doll and we started to sign it everywhere.lol. It came with a dildo and everything! This was now around 2am and Die comes out of the bus while talking on the phone taking a smoke break I guess. And he is there across the street while we freak out because we don’t want him to look at the blow up doll. Cause he is only like 30 feet from us. Lol. So we ignored him and continued out business. The sprinklers kept going on and off so we couldn’t get comfortable until 5am cause the floor was wet.
Let’s fast forward a few things happen we see more of the band some people attack Die while he walks to the hotel. Dumb we see the band go in. We give the blow up doll to the roadie and he takes it to the bus! We all clapped when he came back. He didn’t look happy to do the job. lol. Later while standing in line we heard songs from the sound check I was like “oh shit!“ Finally we go in!

You know what is really weird me and this guy were talking about how they should play
GDS at least for the encore cause it is so awesome! And right when we said that GDS started playing!!! WHAT?!!!!! It was so cool its been years since we heard GDS live “KILL KILL KILL KILL!!!!”
Obscure is crazy like always. I swear I will never get tired of that song. Hahaha. I was sooooo happy when they Merciless Cult I was afraid that they wouldn’t play it! “AAHHH GASP FOR BREATH!” Red Soil we were looking forward to hearing this song live cause we know the lyrics and all this was a fun song! Stuck Man all I knew was that if they played this song I would be scream “1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5!!!!!” and scream “HELL JAP!!” and everyone did. I remember during this song Toshiya and Kyo jumped at the same time and Kyo encouraged us to jump. Doukoku!!!! At first I couldn’t believe my ears have they been playing this song in other shows? At least not from what I know of. This song I really wanted to see its one of my fav’s from Uroboros! Deeper Vileness oh shit that was good. The acapella…wow again only this time Kyo was doing the sprinkler again. I love it when he does that! They just had to play Hydra 666!!! Cause they didn’t the first night that and Obsure! Hydra was awesome the crowd was into it. Oh did I forget to mention that during Obscure the whole barricade was moving forward towards the stage. I felt bad for the photographers. After they left there was this one guy who did it threw out the whole show and by the end of the night the barricade was practically at the stage. My hands were holding on to the stage hahaha. Pretty uselss barricade! As for the rest of the regular setlist it was all amazing. Toguro Kyo his beautiful dance that he does. I think this is the one that he acted like a snake lol. XD my bad! It was a good crowd. During Vinushka 4 people crowd surfed. Lol and one of them was the pokemon dude. He was funny and kept me entertained with his music in line. The encore was…was….unbelievable…Akuro no Oka I teared up badly. Kyo looked so sad and he shed a tear and that made me start tearing up. Toshiya looked all emotional too. When I looked at Die he was singing along while playing the acoustic. Kaoru’s solo was heart wrenching. Shinya looks so awesome when he played. I made sure to look at all of them during that song. I’ll never forget it. Then we got Kodou everyone got crazy again!!! Then Bottom of the Death Valley happened everyone went crazy!!!! I loved it so awesome to see it live! Anna cried as if her mother died. At first it sounded like she was laughing but then I saw she was crying hysterically and jumping in place. lol. I put an arm around her hoping it would help her somehow but I doubt it worked hahaha. Ugly was so great my gawd!!!!! I love the Ugly single!!! They were playful during this song on stage I remember Kaoru and Die trading places and the crowd would scream “hey, hey, hey” for a while!! Then Kyo does his thing where he says “Last Song!” over and over again! I love it when he does that! People just scream I yell “last song” after him ^_^ then they play IIID Empire lol. Dude so awesome!!! I love hearing Kyo scream “jump!” everyone got really crazy then. They all stuck around except for kyo and they did the same routine as throwing picks water bottles clapping hands. I caught Toshiba’s pick it-actually it landed on my forehead lol. THANK U
We met up with Claudia and Miriam for the signing. I got merch finally cause I didn’t want to think about it no more. I got 3 shirts wristband and poster. I brought my DVD. We went in this order Claudia, Me, Miriam and Anna. I was soo pooped!!!! From downstairs I could see the order Die, Shinya, Kaoru, Toshiya then Kyo. OMG OMG OMG. Die I forgot what I said, I said thank you atleast and otsukare samadeshita (I probably spelled it wrong yeah I think I did) that’s what Anna taught me in line thank you Anna! Then shook his hand. Then I said that to Shinya and he was like “ohhhhh” and nodded then shook his hand. I was proud because I said it without being nervous and with eye contact ^_^ that is really hard for me to achieve. Kaoru makes me nervous. I said thank you for the great show or something, and said the same thing then shook his hand. Same thing with Toshiya he has such a lazy smile or looks high or something hahaha after he signed I showed that I caught his pick he got it from my hand and signed it I was saying “thank you thank you!!” *sigh
Now came Kyo…OMG… I didn’t expect for me to act this way I even get nervous every time I think about it. I will like to blame that I hadn’t slept for days that’s why I reacted the way I did. Well when I saw Kyo in the eye. I balled…I started crying…I took my left hand and covered my eyes. I thought I can’t believe this is happening and can’t believe I am acting like this in front of him. Miriam told me later that he had a face expression like “oh fuck, I didn’t do anything wrong did I?” I saw that too hahaha. I was like “thank you” and bowed he took my hand with a firm grip and shook it dramatically for a good few seconds while smiling at me. Like a huge smile!his handshake was shockinglgy strong so i did the same!! That made me more emotional I think. How awesome was that!!! So I said “Otsukare Samade” all voice broken because of my tears, he nodded and smiled. While shaking still I said one more thank you and bow and left.. I cried outside T_T
Unbelievable night.
