Think of the educational opportunities for the kid testing the 'names will never hurt me' hypothesis!
The second my kid gets told that by a teacher, we're writing up the lab report, sending him to test it the next day, and while s/he sits outside the principal's office s/he can fill in the data and conclusions sections :D
