Yeah, I was rooting for Pittsburgh to go down as well. After Matt Cook took out Mark Savard earlier this season I've been waiting for them to get their due.
That said, I would be even more excited if the Bruins had already made it to the Eastern Conference finals, but they've managed to lose three in a row to Philadelphia. And while I'm hopeful they'll pull it off, I'm not as confident as I was a few days ago.
Losing David Krejci has really hurt them. They're having difficulty regrouping. And what kills me is that they came so close on Friday and then it all started falling apart.
Montreal-Boston would be terrific, and probably a little ugly. I know a lot of Bruins fans were pulling for Montreal to win for that very reason.
