I only saw a few episodes of Kings, but really liked each of them. It was beautiful to view.

I have to be in the mood to watch Seinfeld, and if I am, I think it is hilarious, if I'm not, it is annoying as hell.

I can understand. The characters are so petty - liking the show really depends on a certain perspective/sensibility.

I think Cougartown has some issues (especially imo with how it portrays women) but I totally love it anyway. I just think it's hilarious, and its absurdist ridiculousness (which I LOVE) is tempered with a bit of real warmth and heart. This was a good year for new comedies. Not so good for old comedies though since I think The Office and HIMYM (and even 30 Rock) all had "ehhhh" seasons.

I'd generally agree with all of your comments. In the beginning, I didn't even think to watch it. Then, I was too lazy to flip away after Modern Family. Then i actually started liking it.

For an ostensibly women centric show - yeah - it's flawed. What saves it, is that the characters seem to really care about each other.
