I wish they would just change the vows from 'death do us part' to 'as long as it isn't inconvenient'. Might as well be up front about it all.

I do not believe in love at first sight, though I do believe in lust at first sight.

I don't care how old fashion it sounds, there is a reason for courtship taking a year or two.

To clarify, this is not about the relationship that I have with my wife nor is it likely to be. But I just heard about a second family member who is going down this route.

Oh, and gwyd, the second line was worded for the hoi polloi. My actual thought was that I might believe in eros at first sight, but not philia (much less agape) at first sight. :-)
