Well, my tastebuds and mind certainly were! It's like... wel, it's like reading a new book. Your mind perceives (from blurbs, the cover, whatnot) that it's a mystery, set in the Middle Ages, say. But, indeed, it might turn into something completely different, when you get into the heart of it. Something you've never quite experienced before. You start by making a preconception based on what you already know, then move forward into the unknown, molding the experience as you go.
You know what I hate about drivers here? That's different than what I experienced in far more terrible places to drive (Boston, New Jersey, NYC)? People often don't signal. I've never seen so many people just not signal their turns. I'm talking about straight-up stopping at a 4-way intersection and making a 90 degree turn without signaling. Argh
