How is it I'm just now finding out about a Big Gay Brunch? (Named after Big Gay Al or the Big Gay Sketch Show on Logo?) You'd think I'd have gotten notice. I guess they booted me out of the club when I started dating a man again. *sigh*

Did you know my good friend Paul is there today selling carnivorous plants? I designed his logo, so stop by to at least see it being used somewhere other than on LJ (txtriffidranch). His lovely & talented wife czarina69 is one of my 3 Very Best Friends.

I'm presuming it was in honor of gay/gay-friendly comics creators. But it was a good time.

I did know paul was there. :) actually, I talked to him a little, got a sticker and TTR info :) and shared many friendly hugs with Caroline.

Hey! Paul was my booth bunny again this year. He had a great time selling his plants and even though he was right next to me, we barely talked. Which means a return trip this summer to visit.
I think this is the happiest he has ever been.

Agreed!! Although it wasn't so great when he was unhappy, it's such a delightful contrast to see him so settled and happy with life nowadays.
