Well, it's hard... it'd rather go to France, as I love Paris with a passion- and the France country in general- but unfortunately my French is quite rusty... if I were to go in a place where I could easily speack the language, well... Britain.
Yeah, yeah... I love the country, so what?

France is not the place for me, beautiful though it may be, and my French is entirely in disuse. Many of our friends there are moving to Israel because of recent events there, and they are extremely happy to be in Israel. So there are your exiles, for real....

And Great Britain is beginning to have the same issues as France, so that's not for me either...

Edited 6/26/2015: Well, what happened today in France certainly clinches it for me; France is definitely the wrong place for me to be! I would not ever want to live there....

Israel is definitely on my to-visit list, though it's pretty far away and I don't speak the language v.v

As for me, it is still Scotland. The landscape, the people, the accent, the traditions <33 I'd just love to be a part of that, but since my stay abroad I've also learned to appreciate my home country a little more :) Germany isn't half bad!

Oh, you should definitely visit! Most native Israelis at least speak English; in fact, when they find out a person can speak English, they refuse to speak Hebrew because they want to practice! It makes it very difficult for those of us trying to practice our Hebrew! Since it is a country of immigrants coming home, many languages are spoken besides Hebrew. There have been waves of French immigrants, for example, especially recently. I'm not sure about recent German immigrants, though.

It is beautiful, with a very long history. You can just feel the holiness of some places, if you're sensitive to such things.

I would love to visit Scotland someday, though (yes, the accent is something else!)... and it's good you appreciate your home even more, now that you've had experience abroad.
