I'm mostly okay now, except for an annoying, tickly cough that isn't fading quickly enough for me. If I never have to taste another strawberry menthol Halls again, that would be fine with me. On the other hand, this meant I finally had the time to watch The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, which was a disappointment. It's not like I was expecting

Well, I did LOL when his... war elk (?) picked up a bunch of orcs with its antlers and Thranduil neatly decapitated them with one sweep. So tidy, so efficient, keeps the blood spatter well away from one's shiny armor...

It's a shame about The Hobbit movies. It seems to me that the makers forgot the story was supposed to be about Bilbo, not the dwarves. I mean, Tolkien killed off three of them in one sentence. I'm pretty sure they weren't that important to the narrative.

Thanks! This is a huge improvement over a couple weeks ago, so hopefully I'll shake this stupid cough soon.

I think they did as good of a job as could be expected with the dwarves, but it still felt like there wasn't enough plot to divide between them all so the ones that didn't get much screentime sort of all blurred together...
