I get quite a few comments and PMs about Dark Hour of Night and its lack of completion. It's nice to know that as old as the story is, people are still curious about the rest. Being a writer of many, many years myself, I'm familiar with the whole "just do it" approach. It's good general advice, but sometimes it's not that simple. Thank you for asking, and I will say that where Dark Hour of Night is concerned, eh, I'm not dead yet. We'll see...
Speaking as a fellow ASOIAF fan, I totally feel your pain at having to wait so long between books, but I'm pretty sure George R.R. Martin doesn't deserve any vicious verbal assaults, even in jest. I'm inclined to cut him a lot of slack, for obvious reasons!
