Just a Little Casting Squee
So, I was reading the blurbs for the last few episodes of Supernatural, and saw a promo pic of Dean sitting at a table with... "Is that Julian Richings?" I thought. "Could fate be that good to me?" Why, yes, fate could. Even better, it looks like he'll be playing Death.
Fannish folk will most likely recall Mr. Richings as the assassin Camiel in Once a Thief, possibly as Bucky Haight in Hard Core Logo, maybe even for his various recurring roles on Nero Wolfe. Me, I've always been sad that he wasn't tapped to play Severus Snape.
