It's been hard for me to put into words what I've been feeling lately, but after talking to Halie yesterday, I finally feel like I can do it. Basically it boils down to the fact that I care too much about what other people think of me, and about the decisions I make in my life

I think you guys are making the right decision too. You two are such great people and I know Ben will take care of you. It also helps to know that your future inlaws aren't far away if you need help. If the static is coming from your family (as it is for me on my move next week to be with Drew

I second what Erin said. And add the fact that anyone who has seen you and Ben together can't possibly have any thought of you making a mistake. It must be great to have your life come together in that area- and soon the job will come too! So- if you're happy then that's that. (well- we all wish is was that clear cut- but it really can be, i promise)

It can be difficult not to question yourself when people who care about you disapprove, explicitly or tacitly, of your decisions, but you are accountable only to your own happiness. And the others will come around, especially when they get to know Ben (I don't really know him yet, but it's obvious how happy he makes you, and how right you are together), and your doggies (I LOVE ALL DOGGIES, INVITE ME OVER TO PET DOGGIES!!)
